Mar.14 - Russian fans are scrambling for a way to watch this weekend's highly anticipated 2022 season opener in Bahrain.

Alongside the ousting of Nikita Mazepin and his sponsor Uralkali, Formula 1 scratched not just Sochi's grand prix contract, but also the Russian broadcasting deal with Match TV and access to the streaming service F1 TV.

The paddock is grappling to digest the harsh news.

"I am shocked by the brutality with which Russia is proceeding," said Red Bull's Dr Helmut Marko. "But there should be no group responsibility.

"The individuals can't help it," he told Osterreich newspaper.

Nevertheless, Russian fans are scrambling for alternatives and have been asking Match TV's top commentator Alexey Popov for advice.

"We aren't going to do pirate streams or anything like that," the Russian insisted.

"All we can legally do is show ourselves. Many people have asked us to do this so they can listen to it like a radio and watch the pictures somewhere else or superimpose it.

"But I want to warn you right away that it will not be a smooth broadcast as it would be on TV, because of the delays. Even on TV the delay is often several seconds but this way it could be up to a minute," Popov said.

"So keep this in mind if you watch or listen to us on the weekends. It will not be as easy, convenient and reliable and as you are used to, but unfortunately it is the maximum we can do at the moment," he added.

Here you can get your own F1 TV account.

Ror look what the Bell-end is upto now, anything to stay in the limelight

Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton says he will change his name to incorporate his mother Carmen's surname.

The 37-year-old Briton is likely to race under 'Hamilton-Larbalestier' in the 2022 season, which begins this weekend.

"I am really proud of my family's name. My mum's name is Larbalestier and I'm just about to put that in my name.

"I really want her name to continue on with the Hamilton name."

He added: "I don't really fully understand the whole idea when people get married then the woman loses her name."

I'm gonna take wild guess that your favorite color is green...right Super Fly? Because you're one green eyed son of a gun. Lol smh. The topic had nothing to do with Lewis yet you had to find your darling Ror to release your obsession. Couldn't wait to scratch the itch huh?
Incorrigible must be your middle name. Lol Pitiful. 😏

You are one sad muppet shoddypost, your attempts to slate LH with so many feeble posts, regardless of the subject matter, are becoming monotonous.

Does that mean, if sir Lulu wins 2022 fi season it won't add to his seven world titles because he's changed his name to his mother's name LOL.

Hey, you're on to something...side hustle explained. When he gets his bum kicked going forward the stats will be attributed to Mr. Newguy and his knighthood will not be tarnished. That, and he can blame it all on his mum.
        Good play, Sir Lew.

Sir Lewis Larbalestier hasn't got much of a ring to it, be a change from Hamilton this & Hamilton that. Larbalestier this & Larbalestier that will soon turn into some slang. :

All the charisma and humour of a mummified hamster ( no pun intended there..), gotta learn to chill out and allow a few smirks now and then f1, learn the smirk from the Maxster.. otherwise you'll just wet yourself again with all the stress .

Smirk has nothing to do with f1 and everything to do with jaw cramp from servicing Kelly. I’m with Max, beats f1 any day. Good to see he’s getting his priority’s right unlike Sir Lu.
As for you stroppy you old barge cut out all this man love for Lulu you’re obviously infatuated with him.

I’m not sure what the point is after all these years. He has been using Hamilton since he's started racing. Why now? I know it couldn’t be his need for more headlines and publicity. Maybe a new cause he can attach himself to? Sily, silly man.

Henceforth the previously named Sir Lewis Hamilton, will now be know as Sir Lewis Larbalestier Hamilton

The 37-year-old is expected to include Larbalestier as a middle name rather than using a double-barrelled surname.

I mean how many middle names does a person need? , he already has-Carl Davidson as middle names..!

Personally I think Larbalestier will just get shortened to Lala, which in time, will replace Lulu , then his team can include Tinky winky,Dipsy, and Po .

Shrop', unusual for you, but you've missed the point. See my response to Donalf above. Newguy is planning ahead, AND your buddy Jaxjaw won't have to be embarrassed by his silly prognostications.

So shropp, what your saying is that sir Lulu is not changing his name he is in fact adding another middle name so why all the fuss if he is still going to be called sir Lulu Hamilton, just after more press coverage more like,, not world champion at the moment so got to do something. Desperation setting in.

Just had a word with LaLa"s accountant, apparently , it is a tax dodge, the more names you have, the less tax he will pay, and can spend more on colouring his hair a fine shade of copper, in fact hes so pleased with it , Rosco is now the same colour, although Angela refused his offer weirdly enough

Well , he is changing it, but only by adding to it, i'm with you and Ror on this , cheap PR stunt
