Today Pirelli released the overview of the selected tyres sets for Belgium. In this over view you'll see the amount of tyre sets each driver and team choose to use during the whole weekend for the 2019 Belgian F1 GP.

It catches the eye straight away that both Mercedes drivers have complete different view on the weekend than the others, except for Lando Norris of McLaren, they are the only drivers with 4 sets of medium tyres.

George Russel is the only driver that choose for 2 sets of the hardest compound tyre, the white ones for the grand prix weekend that will be held on Spa-Francochamps circuit in 3 weeks from today.

Its time F1 had more than one tyre supplier and a free run of which to use. Also forget refueling. Absolutely dangerous and a total waste of money.

A big NO to refueling in Formula One. Far too dangerous, especially with teams trying to do things so fast. Playing with fuel in record time spells disaster~! I agree with Mick Pipe about then tire choices: time for Goodyear and Michelin (Yokohama?) to get involved. Besides the expense, it is very good advertising. (You have the winter to think it over - Teams.)

True, refueling can cause some serious - hot - situations, but there is no way to have a risk-free Formula race.
One has to consider pros and cons.
About the tires I fully agree. If the tire makers will participate, the teams should be free to choose the maker, the compound - and the size of the tire!
