Dec.9 - Nikita Mazepin "must not" carry over to his F1 debut next year some of the "mistakes" he has been making in Formula 2.

That is the view of Haas boss Gunther Steiner, ahead of the wealthy Russian's move into Formula 1 with the small American team in 2021.

Mazepin, 21, caused a stir in Bahrain with his excessive racing tactics, which attracted penalties from the FIA and a rebuke from Daniel Ricciardo.

"What he did crossed the line," the Australian said.

It reminded observers of Mazepin's reckless behaviour in parc ferme after the Spa race earlier this year, when he hit the 'P2' marker board and almost struck Yuki Tsunoda in protest of a penalty that cost him the win.

When asked about last weekend's Bahrain race, in which Mazepin was extreme in his defensive driving, Steiner said: "I could say that I didn't see the race, but that would be cheating.

"So, I say that Nikita fought very hard and got a penalty, which is part of his learning progress. He has to understand that such mistakes must not occur in Formula 1."

So this guy sexually assaulted a woman, blackmailed people, talked to underaged girls, punched Callum Ilott in the face but because he's a son of Russian billionaire nothing will be done, right?

Has are going to regret ever getting involved with Mazepin, he is another spoilt brat that is used to Daddy bailing him out whenever he gets into trouble. Daddy will have to buy the team for him to race in 2022. That’s if has don’t pull the pin immediately and replace him which Chico.

another spoiled brat son-of-a-billionaire to stink up F1 - and this one sounds like many of the 2nd generation mafiosi I grew up with in NY - who could get away with just about anything with the phrase "do you know who my father is?"

Did you mean Mick Schumacher, who I suspect will out-qualify teammate Mazepin routinely - Lando (does McLaren get Mercedes engines next year or in 2022?) will likely have the far better car and engine next year, regardless of what powers the papaya cars, so if he's NOT kicking both Haas' asses that will be noteworthy!

If HAAS don't drop him F1 management certainly should. They banned Grid Girls for no good reason so if they don't ban him from F1 entirely they are hypocrites.
