Test driver Gary Paffett will leave McLaren at the end of the season after eight years with the team.
Paffett has held roles such as test and reserve driver since joining McLaren in 2006.
The Englishman is moving on as the long-term partnership between McLaren and Mercedes-Benz comes to an end, with Honda supplying McLaren engines from next year.
Paffett drives for Mercedes-Benz in DTM.
Paffet said: “I’ve loved working for McLaren and hope my feedback and input over the years has been beneficial. The engineers I’ve worked with have been kind enough to say that it has.
“I have many friends at McLaren, and I wish all of them the very best of luck for the future. Fingers crossed for a McLaren grand prix win or two next year.”
McLaren described Paffett’s contribution as “highly valuable.”
