Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso will both be in action on the opening day of the four-day first winter test in Jerez.

Vettel will get his hands on the new Ferrari for the first time, while many eyes will focus on Alonso and the new Honda powered McLaren.

Vettel will drive on the first two days of the test before handing over to Kimi Raikkonen, while Alonso will alternate days with Jenson Button.

The former champions will be joined on the opening day by drivers such as Nico Rosberg of Mercedes and Valtteri Bottas of Williams.

World champion Lewis Hamilton will drive on Monday and Wednesday.

The first test gets underway on Sunday, as teams assess how their new cars are shaping up ahead of the new season, which starts in six weeks.

Eight teams will run new cars, after Force India decided that they will run last year’s car under their new team colours.
