Vettel makes surprise Ferrari visit
Sebastian Vettel is getting to know his new team after making a surprise visit to the Ferrari garage during today’s test at Abu Dhabi.
Vettel will officially join the Italian outfit in January after leaving Red Bull, but has decided to meet and greet his new team after being seen in the garage in plain clothes.
The four-time champion is not allowed to drive for Ferrari during the two day test, which sees every team prepare new parts and ideas ahead of next season.
Vettel wasn’t granted early release by Red Bull who, he says, fears he will take secrets and team info to his new employers.
Kimi Raikkonen and young driver Raffaele Marciello are in the car for Ferrari over the two days.
