Williams are 100% sure that their engine is identical to the one Mercedes are using, according to technical director Pat Symonds.
Felipe Massa hinted that Mercedes may not be supplying Williams with the same engines that they put in their own cars, after they dominated the Australian Grand Prix and finished around 30 seconds clear of the field.
However, Symonds has quashed that suggestion and insists that they have a great working relationship with the German manufacturers.
Symonds told AUTOSPORT: "We have no doubts over the parity of the engines from Mercedes during the Australian Grand Prix.
"We have a great working relationship with all the team at Brixworth and know how hard they pushed things to the limit to bring the best performance to Australia.
"HPP are constantly checking the data and all the power units are exceptionally close in performance.
"Our aim now is to continue developing the car to ensure we can fight Ferrari."
