Williams test driver Susie Wolff will drive the new F37 at the second pre-season test in Barcelona, it has been confirmed.

Wolff’s role with the team has increased after impressing last year in a Friday practice session in Germany, and will try out the new car on the opening day of the crucial second test on 19th February.

Wolff’s expanded role in 2015 will also see her drive in two FP1 sessions throughout the season, with one likely to be at Silverstone after she suffered mechanical problems there last season.

Williams enjoyed an encouraging year in 2014, and finished third in the constructors standings with drivers Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa impressing throughout the year.

Massa netted the team’s first pole position in over two years when he set the fastest time in Austria, while Bottas had a consistent string of podiums through the middle of the season.
