Wolff: We must take Verstappen seriously
Max Verstappen is a genuine contender for the 2019 world championship.
That is the view of Toto Wolff, after Red Bull driver Verstappen in Hungary added his first ever pole to his run of impressive recent form. Verstappen is 63 points behind championship leader Lewis Hamilton.
"There are still 260 points available for a driver, so the mathematics tells us that we must take Max seriously," Mercedes team boss Wolff said. "We are also not writing off Ferrari. We must increase the pressure in order to stay ahead."
Earlier, Ferrari was Mercedes' biggest rival for the title. But Wolff now acknowledges that Red Bull is riding a wave. "Red Bull has always had one of the best chassis, and Honda has made a big leap forward," he said.

I think Toto Wolff is correct.
Ho you are on the money mate hope he will win to day and Ferrari as well i can see Hamilton i can see dont like him its the start to day that first bend is bad at this track you have 6 top drivers dont hit eney of them going be a good race mate
Unfortunately, he is correct most of the time.
Otherwise we wouldn't have to put up with this rampage of all other teams being browbeaten into submission.
This may be the light at the end of the tunnel.
Toto knows all about reverse psychology. Having the media endlessly banging on about RB and Max winning the WC this season is considerable pressure on that team. Meanwhile, Hamilton can make up a massive deficit to win a considerable lead with a power based strategy at the last race. Nothing better than a bit of lunging foil in fencing.
Red Bull are a good team all good guys i did feel so sorry for Young max with just 2 more laps to go poor guy but it was good to see him first time on pole and Charles on his first race as well the to of them will be world class .Toto if he had a brain tell Hamilton to loos a lot of pounds he is getting very fat years ago wham Montoya for Williams was told to loose a lot of pounds same
