Lewis Hamilton had a special helmet and drove around with no. 1 on his Mercedes W09 car, while Max Verstappen had a aero device on his Red Bull RB14 race car. A lot of teams were doing aero measurements, to calibrate their wind tunnel measurements.

Super hyper ultra anyone reading this, not a formula one fan, would be so confused. It's time they were numbered. 1 being softest and up.
They have realised that that is confusing. The work on fixing it is in progress. Next year three grades of medium will be added to the list: medium, ultra-medium, and the less-than-medium.
thanks for making me laugh Simon!
Don’t forget the superhard, ultrahard and hyperhard...:-)
@Alan: Next year there will be only hard, medium and soft tyres for each race.
