Lap times 2nd practice 2014 Japanese F1 Grand Prix
Event: Japanese Grand Prix
Track: Suzuka Circuit
2nd practice for the 2014 Formula 1 Grand Prix showed us a lot of drivers who spun off and had to use the whole circuit. After 3 laps we saw an unfortunate Kamui Kobayashi who only was able to keep his Caterham on Suzuka for his home crowd 3 laps, when he spun off at the SS-es.
Jean Eric Vergne had a lot of engine trouble and had to stop 2 times. Daniel Ricciardo caused a code red after hitting the barriers at the beginning of the main straight. After 9 laps Esteban Gutierrez spun of at Spoon.
At the end both Mercedes drivers again showed they can go a lot faster then the competition. Lewis Hamilton set the time difference to the fastest competitor, Williams drivers Valterri Bottas to 1,2 sec.
