Lap times 3rd free practice 2019 Chinese F1 GP

The third and final practice for the 2019 Chinese Formula Grand Prix was kicked off by Kevin Magnussen in the Haas VF-19. The Danish driver was the first driver who drove out the pits for this FP3.
The struggling Williams was the firs team with a lap time on the time sheet. Robert Kubica clocked a 1:37.220. His 13 years younger team mate set the second time who was almost 0.6 sec. faster on the Soft Pirelli tyres. Today we saw Patrick Head back in the Williams garage next to Claire Williams.
First of the top teams to put a time on the sheet was Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc. He drove a 1:34.104. His team mate Sebastian Vettel followed shortly and improved that time with almost 0.9 sec on Soft tyres. Both Mercedes drivers Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton came out a few minutes later but couldn't match Vettel's lap time.
Red Bull Racing waited until the track had more rubber before Pierre Gasly and Max Verstappen came out their pit garage.It was almost halfway this third free practice session before they set their first lap times. Gasly's first lap wasn't very clean and the French driver ended up on P11 with a 1:35.326 on Medium tyres. Verstappen started his first lap on Soft tyres and recorded a 1:34.447 to be 5th fastest.
With 7 minutes to go rookie driver Alexander Albon had a big crash coming out of the last turn. He gone wide coming out in turn 16 and tried to use the artificial grass, oversteered and tried to correct his error, but couldn't avoid crashing into the barrier with the right side of his Toro Rosso STR14. The session was red flagged and ended to clear up the track. The Toro Rosso mechanics will have a busy 2 hours to get the car ready for qualifying.
Last years quickest lap time of FP3 was set by Vettel. he clocked a 1:33,018 on Ultrasoft tyres.
