On a the dry Singapore street circuit Lewis Hamilton scored his 37th pole position in front of his Mercedes F1 teammate Nico Rosberg.
In the first Q1 session of qualifying Ferrari looked very strong with Kimi Raikkonen being even faster then his teammate Fernando Alonso. Unfortunately they could not keep up with the quicker Mercedes and Red Bull drivers.
Williams drivers Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa, also could not show their speed of last Grand Prix.
