Results 1983 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Brazil
Event: Brazilian Grand Prix
Track: Autodromo Interlagos
There was no second-place driver in the official results of the 1983 Brazilian F1 GP because the race was stopped before the full distance due to heavy rain and poor visibility. At the time the red flag was shown, Piquet was leading the race and had completed more than two-thirds of the scheduled race distance, which made him the winner under the FIA rules in place at that time. The other drivers were classified based on their positions at the end of the penultimate lap before the race was stopped.
