Biggest surprise was P2 of Red Bull driver Max Verstappen. He only was 3 tents of a second slower than Hamilton's epic pole lap, while rumours say the Renault power unit in the back of the Red Bull lacks 75 HP to the Mercedes power unit.
Favourites for this weekends race win Ferrari had a disappointing afternoon by qualifying 3rd and 5th.
