The hardest braking point on the Albert Park Circuit lies ahead of turn 3. The F1 driver has to brake hard, slowing by 222 km/h over just 122 metres. Releasing in the process 2,081 kW of energy. The driver is subjected to 4.6 g, yet at the same time has to push with 140 kg down on the brake.
