2015 Monaco Brake Facts
The hardest braking point on the Circuit de Monaco lies ahead of Nouvelle Chicane. After the tunnel the F1 driver has to brake hard, slowing by 224 km/h over just 139 metres. 1,810 kilowatts of power are released in the process. Up to 4.6 g pull at the driver, who pushes with 142 kilograms onto the brake.
