F1 will celebrate its milestone 1,000th race at this year’s Chinese Grand Prix, with Shanghai playing host to what will be Round 3 of this year’s World Championship. To mark the occasion, Mobil 1 The Grid look back on some of the landmark races and milestones which shaped the history of the sport, starting with the series’ first ever race at Silverstone, in 1950.
