As we continue our lunch in Paris with France's F1 icon, Jacques Laffite, the talk turns to the amazing talent of Jean-Pierre Jabouille, who won the French GP for Renault 40 years ago, to the unsung talent of Tico Martini and to many other French F1 vignettes. Jacques also speaks for the first time about the trauma that scarred his friendship with Alain Prost. "I understood back then," he says, "why some people choose to die."
