Back in 1985 the Monterey Historic Races at Laguna Seca had Alfa Romeo as the featured marque. Among the many fantastic cars were the Tipo 159 F1 winning car from 1951 - and it was driven in anger by Phil Hill and also by the then 74 years old Juan Manuel Fangio. Oh, to have experienced that! Hans Sipma did - and he turned this fabulous little film on his Super 8 camera.

The Canadian also raced in one of the races in his #143 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint - and there is even some onboard footage from that race included in this film. The credit goes to Hans Sipma for actually recording back in the day! Enjoy :)
