In 2008 the then 21 year + 72 days old Sebastian Vettel broke the records of youngest pole-sitter and race winner in F1 history. By winning the 2008 Italian F1 GP Vettel also gave Scuderia Toro Rosso their first and only win and pole in Formula 1.

He still is the youngest pole sitter. Max Verstappen broke the youngest race win record by winning the 2016 Spanish F1 GP. He than was 18 years + 228 days. You can see more records on our F1 records page.
