Max Verstappen wasted no time by topping both light and heavy fuel lap times during practice for the upcoming Miami Grand Prix. The Red Bull driver was looking to bounce back from his defeat to teammate Sergio Perez in Baku, and he was off to a good start by also recording the fastest time on the long straight.

Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc of Ferrari followed Verstappen as the second and third fastest drivers respectively, ahead of Perez, Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin and Lando Norris of McLaren-Mercedes. In the accompanying video, Peter Windsor analyzed the runs on both light and full fuel loads, compared top speeds and revealed the results of a recent poll conducted on the channel regarding fans' opinions on the new Sprint format, which was introduced in Baku last weekend.
