Hardest F1 braking point Shanghai circuit 2014
The hardest braking point on the Shanghai International Circuit lies at the end of the longest straight, ahead of turn 14. Here, the F1 drivers have to brake hard, slowing by 262 km/h over just 139 metres within 2,84 seconds. The calculated braking energy here is 1852 kW. The driver is subjected to 4.77 g and he has to push with 139 kg onto the brake.
