LMP1 Porsche Smashes Nordschleife Lap Record
it's got not much to do with Formula 1, but because of the epic lap record, we wanted to share this video with you.
With their 919 Hybrid Evo LMP1 car, Porsche wanted to break the 35 years old lap record of 6:11.130 min, which is was set with the Porsche 956 back in 1983!
It was hard work for Porsche Works driver Timo Bernhard to give it a try with the car that has 1.160 HP. Don't forget that a lap around the Nordschelife is 20.6 km long...
