Peter Windsor talks to viewers about all things F1 and beyond. In this episode, the subjects include: F1 racing behind closed doors; why the Australian F1 GP should have been cancelled well in advance of the scheduled weekend; the efficiency (or not) of throttle/brake overlap; why budget caps are not the answer to F1's cost problems; and a novel idea for the future of F1 involving driver "auctions" before every race. Peter also introduces a number of classic videos from the AP Archive.

In this video, he visits the Bahamas Speed Week in 1962; the 1978 South African GP; the 1970 Monaco GP; and the 1964 Rand GP. There's also a look at "Take Risk!", the new book written by Richard Noble, the guiding force behind Britain's Land Speed records.

Formula 1 is the Champagne of motor racing and turning it into beer and pretzels! Won’t make it better If a team can’t afford to compete then they should bow out or find some other class of open wheel racing! FIA has already screwed up F1 I remember when the rules were a lot less restrictive, you’d see flat 16 V 16 V12, V10,V8,V6 engines built by many different company’s the only restriction was they were 3 liters for naturally aspirated engines and 1.5 liters if the engine was turbocharged now it’s V6 only!! If teams can’t afford it they should race Go-Carts or Indy cars and get the hell out of F1! it’s time for F1 to open up the rules and let them build great cars and engines again!

Not enough solid content in the show. 1.5 hours is ridiculous when just stretching out information to fill time. Will be a while before I try this again.
