This is the footage of Sebastian Vettel's crash in turn 3 last Wednesday during the second week of 2019 winter testing. You can see his left front fails and Vettel becomes a passenger in the Ferrari SF90 before he hits the safety barrier.

    Ha your right mate he as had 2 bites of the cherry if he can not win this year and let my boy young Max a good car to drive And win i was told Hamilton wishes Ferrari will let him drive but i know thay will never have him drive that cars

    In 1957 my father bought a MGA, white with red upholstery. He'd just gotten a job that required him to commute from SF to Santa Clara and he wanted to have fun with all that time. Dad loved being an engineer.
    My brother & I would scrunch into the front seat to drive with him. He had on a "Brit Cap" and the drivers would tip their hats at each other.

    He heard about the races at Laguna Seca. By this time we had moved to San Jose.It was such fun to go and watch. No big deal, drove in, don't even remember where we paid. We were told not to run across the track.

    We sat up on a hill, near turn 7. You could run from where you say them coming to the top over to the turn. Sterling Moss was my favorite. He once did 17 laps with no breaks, and when others would hang onto the wheel with both hands, Sterling would put one hand up to block out the sun. We were told not to run across the track while they were racing, no fences at that time. When there was a break we would run down to the pits and get to talk to the drivers and get autographs. My sister became great friends with David Hobbs. It was a fun time! There were sad times too. Bart Martin was killed in a crash at Candlestick. The drivers were unhappy because there was a bump in the track due to the fact that the park switched I think from concrete? to black top. We heard the crowd roar, turned around and saw the flames go up. My friend's father was racing Cobra's at the time, so we loved going to lots of races in our area. Racing ife wasn't as $$$$$$ & complicated, however the excitement of man & machine & speed, it's a thrill to watch. My brother & I went to Portugal to see our first -1. Jack had been in the service in Germany and I,m a worldt raveller by disposition, 25 countries so far.I'm not remembering the first time that I saw Senna, if it was in Portugal I do think. I do remember that there was magic there. There was no seperation between him and the car. It was magic. Jack and I were in Morgan Hill watching TV and saw the race where he crashed. He knew that the corner was dangerous and had tried to have the race postponed and the corner fixed. It didn't happen.
    F-1's still F-1, and it's still about the UN-explainable excitement of watching..Jack and I also went to Spain and saw the first race at Catyluna, sorry about the spelling. There weren't even numbers on the seats yet.
    Anyway F-1 is still awesome, and although now it's on TV, huge budgets, remarkable machines, the magic of human to car, tires, their ability to stay at the magic place, in the moment, well it's remarkable. I'm retired now, 14 years teaching 6th grade in Watsonville California. Would love to go to Silverstone for the last race their, where the curves still have names. If you can be of any assistance, feel free to let me know. I'd have to figure out how to include Jack. My contributions to these events monetarily were minimum. I even sold my 1957 Morris Minor, Dark green that I loved, to help pay for one of our trips. Your site does a great job, and I really enjoy being able to check in on my computer.
