He may not be a household name, but Jo Ramirez is one of those people who has seen it all and worked with them all. He broke into F1 in the 1960s, working with emerging superstar [Ricardo Rodríguez](https://www.f1-fansite.com/f1-drivers/ricardo-rodriguez-information-statistics/). His Mexican countryman sadly perished before his star had truly emerged, but by then Ramirez was set on a path that would eventually see him work with [Jackie Stewart](https://www.f1-fansite.com/f1-drivers/jackie-stewart/) at [Tyrrell](https://www.f1-fansite.com/f1-teams/tyrrell-f1-information-statistics/), [Emerson Fittipald](https://www.f1-fansite.com/f1-drivers/emerson-fittipaldi/)i at [Copersucar](https://www.f1-fansite.com/f1-teams/copersucar-fittipaldi-f1-team-information-statistics/), and - most famously - with [Ayrton Senna](https://www.f1-fansite.com/f1-drivers/ayrton-senna-da-silva/) and [Alain Prost](https://www.f1-fansite.com/f1-drivers/alain-prost/) at [McLaren](https://www.f1-fansite.com/f1-teams/mclaren/) in the midst of their bitter rivalry.
