[Valtteri Bottas](https://www.f1-fansite.com/f1-drivers/valtteri-bottas-information-statistics/ "Valtteri Bottas F1 stats & info") has transformed into a different person after his move to [Alfa Romeo](https://www.f1-fansite.com/f1-teams/alfa-romeo-f1-information-statistics/ "Alfa Romeo F1 Team stats & info"). The former Mercedes driver, now sporting a new hairstyle, is cooler, calmer, and has developed a new approach to Formula 1. In an interview with Tom Clarkson, the 10-time Grand Prix winner discusses his newfound resilience to criticism and indifference to other people's opinions of him.

He also shares how he finds happiness outside of the sport and the inspiration behind his mullet. Despite not fighting for podiums, Bottas remains motivated to reach the top step again and has no plans to leave F1 anytime soon. The Finnish driver also reveals his admiration for his former teammate, Lewis Hamilton, and why he still considers him the fastest driver on the grid.
